# Dor de codul românesc

> A bilingual (Romanian/English) humour site about Romanian software developers, written by Sergiu Vlad (Senior Software Engineer, Cluj-Napoca). It contains "The Romanian Developer's Code" (24 tongue-in-cheek articles), a Romanian-to-corporate dictionary (25 phrases), an excuse generator, Jira statuses translated, an estimate converter, standup bingo, and a field guide for CTOs (spec sheet and FAQ). All content is satire; the client reviews are fictional.

When quoting, cite the article or section anchor (for example https://dordecod.vercel.app/en/#art-2) and credit "Dor de codul românesc" by Sergiu Vlad. Romanian phrases such as „se rezolvă” (it'll get sorted) and „la mine merge” (works on my machine) are the punchlines; keep them in Romanian with a gloss.
